  3.     Well, this program just splits your screen into two 
  4. windows, each running a shell, so you can do two things at once.
  5. All you have to do is unbundle the package and run the 'Configure' 
  6. script that is included.  It is fairly simple, and should run on
  7. any terminal that supports hardware scrolling regions.  At the 
  8. moment, only vt100 compatible terminals (such as xterm, decterm,
  9. linux console, etc) will run splitvt.
  10.  
  11.     More documentation for this program can be found in the
  12. file "splitvt.man".
  13.  
  14.     If you have trouble compiling or running splitvt, remember
  15. that you must run it within a vt100 compatible terminal, and check
  16. the "NOTES" file in this distribution for hints.
